シングルとしては、初となる夏うた。

今回の楽曲は、思春期の葛藤や成長の痛み、そして前向きな希望を向日葵になぞらえ、不器用ながらも「まっすぐな強さ」を信じ、思い通りにいかなくても「シャンと咲き誇る」ことを誓う…そんな成長と再生を歌った等身大の青春ソング。

そして、ありのままの自分で咲こうとする、すべての人へのピースオブケイクからの応援歌。

詳細に関しては、YouTubeでの動画でも話をさせていただいておりますが、今回の楽曲は3人での歌唱ではなく、メンバー2人での歌唱となっております。また、現在制作中の2ndアルバムには収録されません。

PIECE of CAKE's 7th single is our very first summer-themed song.

Inspired by sunflowers, this track captures the emotional struggles and growing pains of adolescence, along with the quiet hope that lies ahead.It's a heartfelt coming-of-age anthem that embraces imperfection-believing in a "straightforward strength" even when life doesn't go as planned, and vowing to bloom with pride, no matter what.

A sincere and relatable song about growth and renewal, this is PIECE of CAKE's message of encouragement to everyone striving to bloom just as they are.

As we have talked about in the YouTube video, the song is not sung by the three of us, but by the two members. Moreover, this music will not be included in the second album that is currently in production.
